The general aim of the project is increase the functionality of the project with reinserting these young people socially, the organize of some activities which would train them passing from the community's life to the individual and familial one.

Once they've been trained, these young people will leave the centre, others taking over their place.

From the general aim of the project result special necessities, without them our project cannot be possible.

Such as:

A. Acquisition of flats

This project proposes finding and purchasing of houses (studio flats or flats with two rooms) for placing these young people after the preparation.

The necessity of purchasing these flats contributes first of all to the good function of the project and assures efficient insertion of the beneficiaries and they should get used to the social standards and the responsibilities of an independent living , having the security of “ a roof above their head” , of their own home

The existing financial capital is not enough in spite of the collaboration with the other maintainers of the

project .

On leaving the house each young man receives the necessary things for a normal living , as far as possible , but the problems that comes up and makes the development of the project difficult is the scarcity of money for purchasing houses , what makes more difficult the new school levers access into these homes.

The existent social system in Romania hasn't managed to solve the problem of the of the social houses for these disfavored youth.

B. Compartments and rearranging the house

The Saint Joseph Orphanage was built in 1930 and it was finished in 2000 but the lack of the money prevented them from continuing the work.

The necessity of innovation of the structure and function will be an answer to our problems:

1. The inappropriate division of the space

At present the entry is trough the kitchen in the livingroom. There are three bedrooms, each of them having a bed and the fourth room has double usage: both livingroom and bedroom. The living-room is too small for the daily activities. The bedrooms are used both for sleeping and for the daily activities for these young people .

In these conditions , there seems to be some kind of problem in the every day activities , which take place in the inappropriate conditions both for the staff , that needs silence for their work , and for the beneficiaries, that need privacy for their daily programs.

The revision of the house would solve these , problems .Moreover the newly created space could be used more beneficially for the activities .

The advanced degradation state of the interior part of the building a difficult problem , that must be encountered in this project every year, is getting of the sanitary license of working . The interior of the building was renovated in 2000.

2.The advanced state of degradation in the house

Since 2000 the house interior hasn't been renovated so this year we had to handle major problems because our hygienic-sanitary document couldn't be delivered, thus we must renovate.

In this conditions the project will continue his purposes only if we paint the walls, remake the rooms' floor, paint the windows and doors' frame, but also it will be much better if in the kitchen we had gritstone and faience.

C.THE ABSENCE OF A GARAGE AND WARE-HOUSE

1The necessity of the garage

From the sailing of the brooms, done by the beneficiaries of this project in the house workshop, we managed to buy a minibus for the transportation of the youngsters.

Unfortunately, our financial situation is in a bad condition so we can't build a garage.  

2 A workshop to store the house belongs

  All the spaces of the house are crowded because lots of activities take place so we don't have a workshop. Because of this problem the people who work for this project had to refuse the help given, which consisted in material things.

D. THE NECESSITY OF THE SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

They take place with the collaboration of the project's coordinator, social assistant, voluntaries and different guests.

Therefore, we celebrated their birthdays, we went for picnics, had some special dinners outside the house for Christmas and invited persons that have different jobs.

These activities allow the initializing and consolidation of the social relations and allows to appropriate the flight of values established by the society. Thus they can become important members of the society.

The forming-instructive activities described includes the acquisition of didactic material which have a permanent annual cost.
